RF: Boys = Mess
I'm starting to wonder if the messes find my boys or if they are just lucky enough to always find the mess. Jack and Ty found a teeny tiny mud puddle in the back yard the other night. This night was already a messy one since we had spaghetti for dinner. It was 80 degrees outside so we enjoyed our spaghetti dinner on the deck, a spaghetti picnic if you will. Bodie LOVED his dinner! He's getting pretty stubborn when it come to dinner time too. Not about the food he's eating just about how it's getting in his mouth. He would much rather feed himself! After a few times of us feeding him, his arms start flying and he's done. He wants to do it himself. This equals a mess, but it's working for him! Of course I don't help the mess when I give him a full sippy cup of milk and forget to put the valve in the lid. Ooopsie!! In that case the I helped the mess find him. :-)
Ty's Mud splatter from watching his feet while jumping in the puddle

Their clothes had their own little laundry load after this.

Double Forks!!

Big mouthful of spaghetti hand

I wanted to cry over this.

RF: Soccer
We signed Jack up for soccer. He had his first practice this week with the Wildcats. He was a little overwhelmed at first but came around quickly and loved every minute of it! He actually did pretty well too. I'm guessing it was all the practice running in his spikes that he did earlier that day. Hahaha! I wish I videoed that....he would run really fast, back and forth, across the back yard all while watching his feet in his new soccer shoes. :-)
Ty of course was totally bummed that he couldn't play soccer with Jack at his practice. But little did we know they even had an age group for him. They still had openings so Ty even gets to play soccer this year too. I thought Jack was in the youngest age group. A group of 2 & 3 year olds playing soccer could possibly be the cutest and craziest thing I've ever seen. Ty's first practice is this weekend, the pictures of him will follow. :-)

RF: Visitors
My cousin Lexie and her boyfriend Chris came to visit us for their spring break. We had such a great time! The boys loved the extra attention, endless games of hide and go seek, and getting to show Chris and Lex some of their favorite things to do. We took them to our "must go to" place....the zoo. We went to our favorite playground, got ice cream and even took them bowling. I'm not sure who was more worn out, the boys or the grown ups. :-) We had an amazing time with them both and hope they had as much fun as us! Thanks Lex and Chris, for a great couple days!!!
On the way to the zoo.

Wonder what the orangutan is thinking. :-)

They love the snakes !!!

Jack and one of his favorites... A huge creepy spider.

They got to pet a baby boa.

Bodie holding on. :-)

Num num!!!

Taking a break.

At our favorite playground.

Everyone enjoying the swings

Boing, boing, boing

Ice cream snack

That blur is Chris. :-)

RF: Bolt
Jack got Bolt the Big Puppy from Santa this year. They are best friends and Bolt takes many road trips with us. He always has to stay in the car, but enjoys the ride.
I guess with all the attention Ty's been getting with potty training, Jack decided Bolt was a big boy and got his own pair of big boy undies. This is how Bolt woke up from nap yesterday. The comedic highlight of my day and the main reason I had to post this picture is that what Jack told Tom and I last night while putting everyone to bed, Bolt included. Jack, very nonchalantly and out of no where, told us how he made Bolt anatomically correct by putting his tail between his legs. It took everything in me not to fall to floor in laughter. The random stuff he comes up with and just blurts out for no reason cracks me up and scares me for what future phone calls I will be receiving form his teachers. :-)

RF: Goldeners
This is a blog about our furry babies. Our dogs have huge personalities. Sadie spends most of her time on our bed or the guest bed, Lola prefers the couch and her dog bed at night. Lola joins us every time we read to the boys before bed. Sadie will do anything for her tennis ball, Lola's all about the food. They play and wrestle with each other just like the boys do. Sadie loves to go in and out all day long. Her favorite spot outside is on the welcome mat, basking in the sun, even if it's freezing. Lola has to be dragged outside and really just would rather stay on the couch. If she is outside you can see her removing the rocks from our landscaping and destroying Tom's pear tree. Lola's a snuggler, always laying on you as soon as you sit down, Sadie scampers off if you sit any where with in 3 ft of her. They both love giving Tom's hiding place away during hide and seek, Lola makes it her mission. Hahah! They are the beat cleanup crew after a meal with 3 messy boys. They're both amazing with the kids and we love them both so much!
Most of these are of Lola. She is the crazy one. :-)
