Not just for cats

There's a little cat door in the door from the dining room to the garage. Our washer and dryer are in the garage and every time I venture in there to do laundry I always see a little face staring back at me. Usually it's Ty, sometimes it's Lola, today it was everyone. Hahahah!

Boys

What happens when your almost 1 yr old has an obsession with the dog's water bowl??? At some point, it's going to get the best of him.....

If you can't tell in the pictures Ty is soaked from head to toe. He managed to flip the water bowl straight in the air and it all landed right on him. Poor kid! And like a good mom, I took pictures!

And here's a nice, dry, happy Ty, just because!

And for Jack's segment of this post.....Here's what happens when it's raining outside for a week. We all start getting cabin fever and the rules get more and more lenient just to keep everyone occupied. (Plus gymnastics has taught him that everything is like a gym mat that he can flip over.)

Strawberries

We eat A LOT of fruit in this house. Our favorite is the good ol' strawberry. We can polish off a 4lb box in a few days. Everyone eats them, including Sadie and Lola. With our love of this fruit, I thought...why not try to grow our own and have a project for Jack. Let me say....I do not have a green thumb by any means. Plants and I cannot live in harmony together. I didn't have much hope for these when they were planted. (Especially since we planted them before we went to PA for 6 weeks and they were left in the care of Tom) However, We are in CA where, the rumor is, you can grow anything here. Believe it or not, we're actually growing our own strawberries. Jack loves that we have strawberry plants. Who ever comes to the house has to look as his prized fruit. Every morning we go outside to check on them and give them some TLC and water. We planted 2 plants in February, and in keeping with my gardening skills, only 1 plant is producing fruit. Hahahah. But the one that is, is actually pretty impressive! Who knew, we could grow our own fruit! My next attempt will be corn. HAHAHAHAH!!!

My Rock Star!

They boys have this little keyboard with a microphone that they love playing with. Jack's constantly singing "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star" into the mic. Ty's picking up on everything Jack's been doing lately and is his new shadow. And with that comes Ty's version of "Twinkle Twinkle" (The batteries were on their last leg, that's why his version is almost Techno. Hahahah)

And I FINALLY, finally got a picture of Ty's teeth! Excuse the mess....he was devouring strawberries.
