Knoebels

While the boys and I were in PA we went to a local, old school, amusement park called Knoebel's. (Pronounced Ka-No-bels. This is important because their commercial has a catchy tune saying...."Come have some ka-fun, ka-food and ka-fantasy at Knoebels amusement resort." which we sang and mocked all day!) This place is a staple from where I grew up. My Dad used to have his work picnics here every year. It's been forever since I was there and it hasn't changed much at all and it was a blast!!
My Mom and Dad, Aunt Lisa, and cousins Lexie and Ricky came along too. The weather was rainy but it was the perfect day to go. There were no lines so the kids got to ride their favorite rides over and over again. Plus since we were wet from the log flume ride, what was a little rain?? :-) Knoebel's is great because it's not expensive and there's tons to do. It's basically a big park/camp ground with picnic groves all over and it's free to get in. You can buy an all-ride pass, or just use tickets per each ride, you have the choice. So it's totally affordable and the food is so yummy! I loved going here as a kid and it was so much fun seeing Jack and Ty love every bit of it too, of course it helped that there was a ball pit and huge moon bounce. Bodie got to sit this adventure out and spend the day with Tom's mom with the weather being cruddy and the lack of 'brand new baby' rides there. :-)
Thanks to my parents and most of the Jones' for hanging out with us on that rainy day. I was grateful that the boys had help on the rides thanks to Lex and Ricky!!
We had a great ka-time!!! :-)

The Ball pit was cut out after 3 times because the lady sitting in the chair was the MEANEST ride attendant EVER!!

On the log flume...the seating went...Jack, my Dad, Lexie and Me.

Jack loved it so we went again. Then my mom, Lisa and Ricky soaked us with the water guns. Not cool! hahahah!

Captain No Beard. (earring and all....arrrr matey!)

Aunt Lisa joining in the pirate fun! Hahaha!

Doesn't your favorite park have a frozen metal pole in it? That's right, it was a big ol' frozen ice ka-pole. Why ka-not?

Jack loved the bumper cars!

Kozmo's so lucky!

Rain delay moment

Lisa and I squished on the little train ride!

Riding the Tank just like their Dad used to.

Jack's favorite ride! Ty wasn't a fan of the rides that went up high.

These were really cool!

Ricky and Jack on the helicopters.

Lex and Ty.
